The Hijack of Boeing One is a story with wide appeal. First of all, because it is based around the first aircraft designed and built by William Edward Boeing before he went on to found the world’s largest aerospace manufacturer, this story will appeal to aviation enthusiasts around the world. You can learn more about Boeing One and the mystery of its disappearance HERE. But this is not the limit of the story’s appeal:
The tales of pioneer aviation, the exploits of the innovators and young dare-devil pilots, ‘hidden tunnels’ and mystery of the aircraft’s strange disappearance makes the tale a ‘ripping yarn’ with all the hallmarks of a sterling seller.
The exposé of corrupt and incompetent officials and the deliberate frustration of every serious attempt to investigate the tunnels where the aircraft was allegedly entombed will appeal to conspiracy buffs and bureaucrat bashers alike.
And, perhaps most important of all, this is a human interest story of one man’s perseverance in the face of overwhelming odds; a compelling story of a quest that will appeal to many readers regardless of the background it is set against ...
This work is of valuable and relevant historical significance not only to New Zealand, but to international aviation.
The master plan is to create from this rich historical resource a book, a video documentary and a feature film. The book is in the final stages of completion, the documentary is in production and the feature film awaits script development.
